Well, i spent my first day at the national library. Then second day i spent my days zooming around orchard road. My third day was spent jam packed with tuition. Not that i did study much, but i did not spend most of my time playing. Then came the night when my parents were supposed to come back.

My mom called:" OI, HELP ME FIND CAR KEY IN THE CUPBOARD(notice she did not say bag)"
I ans: "oh ok, how about the microphone/skype thing?"
"3 DAYS NEVER SCOLD YOU MUST LET ME SCOLD YOU ISIT?" The phone went shut.
The skye thing was something i tried to ask over an overseas call. I never even got in the details when they said "COME BACK THEN TALK."
Yes, the reason why i speak so loud, partially 'cause of them.
11.25 pm
I could not find the car key. My kitchen cupboard was a long one with 3 separate compartments.
Each of them weren't very tidy. There were also 3 bags with various pockets. Compile that with my lousy item searching ability, i could not find it.
I tried calling my mom. Curse singtel, the call could not be recieved my my mother, after trying 3 times, i went back to searching for the key. I wasnt in my best of mental alertness (very blur), so i did not attempt to call my dad.
11.28pm
My mom called.
"YIAO SIEW KIA (devil child in dialect), SIT AT COMPUTER DUN WAN TO HELP ME FIND KEY. WE DOWNSTAIRS WAIT 15 MINS YOUR BROTHER HUNGRY ALREADY (note timing was only 7 mins) "
how was i to kno they were downstairs already?
" I GOT HELP YOU SEARCH! BUT CANNOT FIND!'was my pissed reply. Bad move maybe, but i only half-hollered it. She was practically yelling.
"LATER YOU GET IT, COMING UP ALREADY."
11.29pm
My mom found the key in 10 secs. Of course, for she knew where she put it.
"SEE? Only here!!I TOLD YOU IN THE BAG U NEVER HELP ME FIND. (notice he din say bag!)" She pointed to one of the exterior pockets of one of her 3 bags of the cupboard. "then she kept repeating the sentence about how i was lazy to find. Ok fine, i exaggerated. She repeated it twice, cause i cut in.
"I GOT HELP YOU FIND!"
"MY FOOT ARH, I 3 DAY NEVER SCOLD YOU YOU QIAN MAH ISIT? (qian mah is 'asking for a scolding' in dialect)
I repeated her sentence in english.
"oh, so you 3 days never scold people, must come back and scold isit?" Practically the same words but obviously different meaning.
Ah well she slapped me. Then she tried to look for the cane. You know, u did think i was a 13 yr old kid by the evidence of the cane but i was 3 yrs older. Besides, i threw the canes away after breaking them personally. "WHERES THE CANE!?"
Then she went back to her room, to get things needed to bring my family out.
11.34pm
My father's turn to scold me. My father is not a computer noob. He knows what skype is.
"EVERYDAY WANT TO CHAT CHAT CHAT. STUDIES NOT IMPORTANT ISIT?"
"3 DAYS PLAY COMPUTER NOT ENOUGH ISIT?"
"EVERYDAY CALL CALL CALL, HOUSE WANT TO CALL, HANDPHONE WANT TO CALL NOW COMPUTER WANT TO CALL."
Skype is an internet calling programme which simply requires a computer mike/speaker device to work. It is free and pays off yr internet bills by amount of time yr internet is connected. As i have broadband, it is practically free.
My turn
"NO! ITS JUST THAT SKYPE IS FREE AND DUN NID TO USE HANDPHONE OR HOUSE PHONE."
"ARGUE ARGUE ARGUE, EVERYDAY ONLY KNOW HOW TO ARGUE, (his fav. line), PLAY COMPUTER NOT ENOUGH STILL WANT TO TALK ON INTERNET, IM GOING TO CANCEL YOUR LINE!(refering to hp)(wtf when my hp comes in? My bill is roughly at most half of u ppl's bills at 20-70 dollars using a VERY lousy plan with nothing free)"
"WHY?" i said, okay, shouted.
"YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU DO IN THESE THREE DAYS?" he said.
well, i had to lie. I said i spent the whole of 1st day at library studying.(half true, i pent whole day at library). Only 2nd day play LAN in the morning then go watch movie(80% true, i did more than that). Then 3rd day whole day tuition(this is 100% true).
he shut up.
11.42pm (how time flies)
My mother scolded me again with same statements, and i said 'i did look for it' again. Then she sort of ignored me. Upon going out she said,"YOU WANT YOU COME ALONG,I NOT GOING TO TA BAO(buy food home in dialect) FOR YOU." I ate already. So i walked towards my room.
"YOU BETTER COME ALONG, DUN NID TO CHANGE SHIRT."
Look, did i have a choice? She just came home and scolded ppl for nothing, just because she was pissed. The onli reason why my da wld scold me is because he is pissed. BUt by whom? My mom proably blamed him for things again. Is it really worth it? 3 days freedom onli to be hollered at for nothing upon parental return? I kept the house in ship-shape, i did everything right.
Actually, i should be used to this. It always happens like once every 3 months. A sudden outburst from nothing. I get blamed.
Is my life so sucky?
Then today, i realised that she wanted to do something today. She did not even put me in consideration. I realised something was amiss yesterday, when she told me to go tuition today. Wasnt i supposed to take care of my bro when she brought my sis to watch Sesame Street today? I decided not to watch movie because of that. AND today, she told me that Sesame Street was tomorrow. She did not want me to be away, because she wanted to go shopping!? She cancelled my movie thingy on Sat for the WildWildWet and now, she wun even let me g to a movie as she din wan my brother taggin along. WHAT KIND OF STUPID REASONING IS THAT? And since i knew about it too last min, i cant go to movie today as my fren cannot make it liao. Then thinking back, i realised she always does such things, just that i never realised.My mother is so selfish and arrogant and always thinks she is right, even when she forgets things and it is her fault. Even my cousin doesnt like her.
Then today's argument ended with "you are still living off my money and under my control, so what if i am a bad mother?"
After a statement like that, is there anyway out? Then after that, she kept saying how my 4 yr old sis was much better then me. WTF LA! SHES FOUR FREAKING YEARS OLD AND FREAKING INNOCENT AND CARING AND NAIVE. She always says that i cannot compare myself to others as they are not better and there she is, comparing me to an ignorant 4 yr old kid.
